About The Artist

Creativity is my passion as a artist. I thrive on using different mediums to express emotions, perspectives, and stories. I’m Marissa Newman, a visual artist who graduated from Middlesex Community College in May 2024 and received a photography certificate in Fall 2026 from Tunxis Community College. Whether working with digital or traditional art, I’m adept at combining multiple mediums to create cohesive, meaningful pieces that forge deeper connections with viewers.

Art has always been my foundation for self-expression. From a young age, I’ve used my imagination to create, starting in 1st grade and developing into the artist I am today. My work has been showcased in various school art shows throughout my childhood and into college. Despite exploring different career paths, my ultimate goal is to become a tattoo artist & photographer, where I can share a deeply personal and lasting way with others.

I am driven by a desire to push boundaries and explore new techniques. Constantly inspired by the world around me, I look forward to bringing my creative ideas to life through traditional art, digital art, and eventually tattooing. I’m excited to connect with others through my work and share stories that resonate beyond the surface.
